I didn’t “lose” my virginity. I didn’t put it down somewhere and forget to pick it back up. I got rid of it. I gave it away. Here you go, take it, I don’t want it any more.
Stop using words that elicit shame and fear in regards to sex and intercourse. It’s amazing, natural and wonderful. Who cares if your first time was with “the right one?” You have an entire lifetime to figure out who that right one is. You get more than one chance. The first person you have sex with does not define your sex life or your moral worth.
